We will explore Black representation in various media platforms, highlighting key figures, landmark moments, and the impact on society. We hope to delve into a wider discussion about the challenges faced and the strides made towards achieving accurate and diverse representation.

Musical Performance by Mojo Parker
February 27, at 12:30 p.m.; Plecker 126
Blending a soulful sound with a new and refreshed look at old time classics, you’ll be transported back to a time where songs were real life stories that told the tales of the traveling troubadours of the Blues.

Featuring a collection to include diverse titles, including novels written by Black authors, biographies about important historical figures such as MLK Jr.
