Many students who are ineligible to file the FAFSA because of immigration or citizenship status may now apply for state financial aid. If you qualify for Virginia residency based on the tuition equity provision, you can now complete the VASA to be considered for state financial aid!
While students who complete the VASA will not be eligible for federal grants, loans, or work-study, they can now be considered for state grants and demonstrate need for BRCC scholarships. For more information, please visit the VASA site.
